Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself. awaiting delivery of my 05 3.0 se auto, joined after checking out the site. Some interesting articles/mods which I hope to do when my Z arrives. Tested quite a few other makes before settling on the Z and reading the reviews and roadtesting it.......Getting impatient and itching to hit the road!

And thanks for all the welcomes.This is going to be my daily drive as the missus has the sensible car! Just hope it doesn't appeal to much over my other two wheeled toy! Must admit that a Z4 hadn't entered my next car equation? So I have my wife to thank for her suggestion! had a 530i a few years ago and thought it was just ok. But really impressed after my 2nd test drive in one.Tried one with a smg box in first, rapid but wasn't happy with how it changed gear. So tried the next auto one and found it too be much smoother and that was the one I bought.
Just wish the post & DVLA would hurry up (plate swap).
Read up on the "Sound Generator Mod"............ Got to give it a go, suspect the 1st car I tested had it done?

Hi ZedMed - and welcome to the forum ! I too have mine as a daily driver, and my wife has the 'sensible' car... :thumbsup: Also auto in case she ever needs to drive mine :cry:

Sound gen is a free and very easy mod, be careful of this site's impact on your wallet for others though :D
 
Still waiting for my Z to arrive, very frustrating waiting for the DVLA. Hey ho but I'm sure the wait will be worth it!
