Hi peeps,
Just wanted to say hello, I bought a Z4 about a week ago and was getting as much info as possible from the net before I got it, this site was utterly invaluable and the contributors really have put a lot of useful out there. nice one!

Anyway, I'm from SE London, UK, just bought this baby, my 2003 3.0SE - first 'sports' car, and I love it! Still taking it a bit easy, used to driving standard hatchbacks so driving position and the power are taking a bit of getting used to! Will drop in some better pics when I get a moment, and hopefully some really nice ones when I clean it up!

Spec wise: Titanium Silver 3.0i SE, 6CD Changer, 18" Ellipsoid 107's, Xenons, Black Oregon Heated/Electric Seats, Cruise Control, White Side Indicators and White Rear Indicators...

I think I got a good deal on it! I like it, and it's a bit late now to change my mind! :)

Welcome the the forum. Yours cars looking good (note to self - get clear rear lights).

Is that a R/C aerial I spot on your car?

Cheers! Yeah, I have gathered that virtually everyone here swaps those out for 'stubbies'!

The lights are a bit different - when I was buying the car, I called around to find out the history and spec, apparently these were options retrofitted by the dealer (with the cruise control) about 6 months after the car was bought new. I've seen a few around where the fog light is 'white' as well, but I think that's either where the owner has paired up one RHD rear with one LHD rear, or they've spray-tinted the white lenses which look pretty good when done right, from what I've seen so far.

hi and welcome, almost as nice as a coupe

change to stubby and it will be much more pleasant on the eye

thanks to all for the nice welcome! :)

Ooh, the Z4 Coupe is a lovely car (especially the M!) , but the budget wouldn't stretch to having one! That said driving down Victoria Embankment with the roof down last friday night (it was a mild night) I knew choosing the roadster was a good move! Especially further down, away from the riverside in the Limehouse Link tunnel (inbetween cameras!) When I learn how to drive it properly, I might 'move up' to a Z4 M Coupe, but I don't plan on it just yet.

Might keep the big aerial for a while... it's not annoying me that much... yet! :)

@Gaza62 - Cheers! was between this one and a couple of sterling greys, although there was a maldives blue one I never actually got to see! In the end, this one had the best history/condition/spec for the money :)
I reckon the 107s go best with silver anyway :P
