Hi to all I would just like to introduce myself.
I have just bought a 2007 White E86 3.0Si with good service history.
It has 93K Klms on the clock and runs very nicely.
It has a Parrot bluetooth system for phone and music that works very well.
I sold my 1972 MG BGT after 10 years of ownership as I felt I needed to keep cool with some decent air con.
I have a question: Has anyone fitted a fire extinguisher in the cabin without drilling holes?

Cheers

Welcome, quite a change from the MG and great colour. Have fitted a fire extinguisher in various cars using a bracket bolted to the front two mounting plates of the passenger seat. Made up in a E shape without the middle part of the E if you get my drift. Bit difficult to explain really. The extinguisher is mounted along the long part of the E so will sit parallel to the front of the seat and holes drilled on the two remaining arms of the E to bolt through the mounting bolts. Might need longer bolts. Hope this puzzle helps.

White coupe.. a rare bird indeed, looks fantastic buddy, and as a side note bloody good looking garage too :D enjoy :driving:

Hi and welcome to the forum, both the car and garage look exceptionally clean

Hi and welcome. I’m guessing you are not in the UK. You quoted mileage in kilometres and no-one has a garage that clean in the UK.

Not a great lover of Coupes but have to admit, that one looks very nice indeed. A lot on this forum will be envious
Welcome

Thanks Haggisman I can follow your instructions and see how I go.
Haggisman looks like the name of an escapee from north of Hadrian's wall.

Of my on volition haha, do miss the old country but NZ isn’t a bad place to be. I probably made things sound harder than they are to make the bracket. Have fun.
