Well gents I pulled the trigger and picked up a 2006 Z4
3.0si with 37K miles on the clock. Grey with black interior,
type 108 wheels. Pictures will be forth forthcoming as she arrived yesterday night. This example is as clean as they come. Complete service records accompanied the car as well with a BMW car cover in the boot. Undercarriage looks
new. I feel like a hit lotto lol. Wow what a ride home too.
100miles from Conneticut to Westchester NY. And yes the tramline stories are true with the run flats :o
I plan to keep her forever!!

Congratulations :) show us a picture.

Sounds like a great buy. Uber low miles for a 14yr old car.
Pics please...

Congratulations, and welcome.

It sounds like you have found a great example of a great car - can't wait to see it!

Got more pics coming but this is the engine bay. Pristine!!
And of course it’s on a BMW Advanced Charger.

Hi and welcome
Car looks a beauty, now all you need to do is enjoy your new pride and joy and get a few more miles on her back 👍

Appreciate the kudos. Z4 has been a dream car for so long
and to finally find one that wasn’t $48k is awesome. Planning on nice long spring, summer, fall trips all over the
place. And so glad to join a great forum. I’ve read a lot
about the car and did so much homework through this
site. Great bunch of Z4 fans around the world here.

Hi and welcome to this forum. I am originally from upper state NY and moved to SE Virginia several years ago. Z4 info in my signature. I have Conte RFT's and do not have any tramlining going on. Original Bridgestone's were crap. Lot of info here....enjoy.

Going to look into those Conti’s your running. Was gonna
go with the Michelin Pilot 4s but don’t know if I need that much performance. Not tracking the car. Well at least for now lol.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport 2 Zero Pressure on my E86. I'm happy with them - another option if you can get them and would prefer to stay with run flats. They wear quickly on the rear, particularly on the inside due to the camber the car is running and the type and style of driving they are sometimes exposed to

Edit: and welcome to the forum, by the way! :D

Thanks again M1k3yc, looked at tire rack and only the Pirelli
P Zero Nero run flats come up as the only RFT option. So taking a slower approach on my tire search but this will be my first upgrade. Second is the leather weighted M shifter. :fuelfire:

Bought my RFT Conti's from Tire Rack, so they are there if you decide you want to go with these.

BSVA your the man. Found them on Tire Rack and this looks like what I really need in the northeast. Roads are terrible
In New York and the harder sidewall will give some pothole reassurance.
Thanks again bro.
