Hi everyone :)

I've had my Z4M coupé for some years now (probably time for a newer one!). I came across this forum when the glass in my wing mirror fell off and I was looking for the best advice as to how it should be fixed. I was amazed to find it was such a common problem and after reading all the great advice I'm happy to say it's now sorted.

I now have a problem with a couple of lights on my dashboard and wondered if this site is the best place to ask for advice and if so, which part of the forum to use. As my user name indicates, I'm not a mechanical person, someone else does the fixing for me!

Hoping someone can advise please.

Their is a section on the forum called e85/86 problems. I would put your question here. I am sure they will ask you for more information regarding which lights and any other symptoms (might be worth taking a picture of your dash with the lights in question on?), but they are a very helpful bunch and I am sure one of them will give you an answer.

Good luck with solving your problem.

Well first off, welcome to the forum OP. (At last).

Posting a photo of the lights in question may help with a diagnosis, but we also like to see photos of the car! :)

Anyway I hope you can get it sorted!

Welcome, a few pics of the car fellow //M Coupe brother would also do nicely.

Also, when posting about your warning lights, a little history before they came up is always useful (flat battery / water ingress / where it’s kept / amount of use etc...) is always useful

Is your bonnet closed properly in that last one - there are 3 catches & needs a firm slam to lock, rather than any pressure on bonnet itself.

Just also trying to work out if it’s a Space Grey, just get lost with the silver colours

It may well have not been closed properly, had a slight problem with the catch but that was sorted out. It's silver but not sure of the exact name :? The photos are quite old, haven't taken any more recently.
