Hi all
I have recently bought a 2006 3.0si Z. Apparently an ex BMW demo car so has lots of extras. It has pro head unit with sat nav 6 speakers but no subs. Any one know if I can change head unit but still keep sat nav and wheel controls? The sat nav controls are on the head unit so don't know if there is a decent BMW upgrade?

Also thinking of a strutt brace as already had some scary moments doing some law breaking speeds and car had a front end with a a mind Of tis own... Looking at http://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?cid=241&pid=1563

I have booked to have a custom cat back exhaust from Powerflow, got a K&N and got a stubby on order.
Seems I have the bug !!!!

Looking forward to hearing from yo.

Any1 from West Sussex????

Cheers

I would check out the cause of a "wayward front end with a mind of it's own" before thinking of a strut brace as it doesn't sound right (unless it's wayward driving of course  ). Crap tyres particularly runflats can cause tram-lining, baggy suspension bushes or poor alignment are common causes as well on the E85 and are worth eliminating first.

Thx
Had a friend, who is main MOT inspector for BMW, check it over and he said looks fine. Got BMW warranty on it so would expect it all good.
Was told it is common due to massive power and big wheels and tyres. ( Runflats fitted.....)
It drives great just had a few nervous movement around 90 mark on Twisty A roads, I mean 60 of corse;(

Also, watch the mods with your insurance company - a lot of them load performance mods such as strut braces and performance exhausts quite heavily.
