What's the Evora like?
Mike,

I drove it a few months back, the reason it had new brakes at the front is that the one of the callipers was seized, so make sure its been fixed correctly. (on my test drive)

It also had a fair amount of under car work, new back exhaust and a few other bits as it'd been driven over something.

But she was very honest about it all, so I'm assuming they were with you too.

Nah I didn't see anything I would be overly worried about. I have copied the thread below where a few other people mentioned the car, might be worth a read.

The Evora - It was very nice. Like a grown up Elise with room inside. Didn't feel big, ride and handling on another planet just so connected to the road and driver. Brakes are something unreal! Fit and finish not far off the Z on the couple of models I have been in. This one needed a bit of glue on the door card. Considering its 'only' 276bhp it felt fast enough (this one had the sports pack) certainly didn't feel slow. I actually prefer the interior of the older cars over the newer models apart from the gear knob which can be changed for the sports racer one. I really feel that this will be my next car move just waiting until cars fall below £30k which should be within the next 12 months or so.

The only downside for me was no roof removal.

Great colour! 8) I doubted between a roadster or coupe and finally decided for the latter. Interlagos blue roadster looks great though!

Yes they said all that to me. I wasn't too bothered about it since it had a new calliper fitted along with new pads and discs up front.

Exhaust bits can be easily replaced and they said it was BMW who did the necessary work, so should be up to standard (I hope!!).

Well, I've had the M for a few a days now and I'm loving it. Such a different drive from the Mini. The acceleration is something else and the noise at high revs is addictive.

Here's a quick pic from today
