Newbie with a serious tuning disorder.

First time I'v seen this build just read all the way through absolutely amazing project! A little disappointed as was expecting to see a finished build at the end but can see how much work has gone into it so looking forward to seeing (and hearing) a video of it in action!

Presumably you did'nt seam weld and/or cage it as that is solely for the track right?

Just thinking if you wind the coilovers up for track work are you concerned at all about cracking the suspension turrets even with a strut brace?

It's coming together now and I have been on and off it for a year and a half? I'm hoping to have it on the road for end of month, if all goes to plan.

I take it your concerned about the extra weight on the front with the V10, it's only 24kgs heavier and I've deleted all the air con. So there isn't much between them really and I didn't build it to be a track car, this is for doing road trips down to the Alps and south of France.

You gonna put a ///M badge on the back - even the snobbiest of snobs wouldn't begrudge you that :D

Infact maybe a ///M+

Like the ///M+
The more I look at the rear shot, the more I'm thinking de badged  Number plate may give the game away :)

Last night I fitted the front wings and adjusted the head lamps. Not great pics but it shows progress. I've placed the bumper on,just for a visual look mind.A9F2D124-3A83-43DE-A72C-2C40D899178F.jpg2EFA5FC9-5AC3-4F5D-A7B5-EA523EFFECA3.jpg
Now I'm sure the under trays for the Z4M front bumper and front lower wheel liners need replaced.

Another couple of late nights on motor and now started to cover front braking system. The only poly bush required on the front is for the wishbone so that's been fitted.b7cfacb0bdc2f3e593c013e7f751cc59_zps3ofjpydi.jpg
Stevie, what make are those offset bushes and where did you buy them?

It looks freaking awesome with that massive engine on show, you should get a plexiglass bonnet made for it, would look amazing for when you are doing car shows with it, I assume you will be showing this?

Headlights needs to be de-gingered Stevie :D
I'm thinking the same, no liking Tango'd look. Black just make them stand out more.
Is there a good thread on what's required?

Thanks. All I want to do is jump in and drive. End of month my dead line, it's getting too close for comfort.
