Newbie with a brand new 20i M Sport

Hello

Been hanging round the forum long enough, stealing info and researching ideas - thought I best contribute. Had an old Z4 that became 3 years old in the summer so sold it in June last year, and bought a brand new one which I picked up at the beginning of March this year. Went a bit wild on the interior but I LOVE IT!! The yellow is sooooo much better in real life than any photo I have seen of it!

So this is what I decided on in the end, after literally months of trying to decide the spec - details in my sig block. Took these photos this weekend - not my greatest work but I am sure you get the idea. Done over a thousand miles and loving it.

Looks lovely and shiny... The interior is teally growing on me, Mines similar but nowhere near as clean :rofl:
 
Thanks - was 6 hrs work on the first weekend I had it - no ways was I going to pay silly money to have some guys who really don't care for it like I do, apply Aglaze!

Just high quality products and a bit of time.

Now just a quick wash (often, as it lives outside mostly) and a touch up and it is all shiny again!
 
Congrats! A Z4 with that long antenna is looking out of place now. Time to change into a stubby.

Interesting interior too, is the yellow much brighter in real life?
 
Yeah.... I was slightly dreading putting up the photos for that reason, but not got round to hooking up a stubby yet. But I had some spare time tonight.... I was actually even thinking of airbrushing it out.

Yellow is so much more chilled in real life. Not bright at all. More like mustard I guess. But is perfect - makes it feel far more sporty. And with the stitching on the alcantara dash etc brilliant. Everyone who has seen it has said the interior is awesome (and I have some pretty blunt friends!)
 
When I first saw a car with that interior I was told it was only on yellow cars I don't know if the salesman was talking rubbish or BMW have changed their mind but it is nice in the flesh do to speak there is one on eBay ATM but at nearly a grand it's too rich for me
 
Definitely post pics of the alcantara seats with yellow stitching and the yellow dash detail will make more sense. Saw a pic of the alcantara seats and it is stunning.
 
Love it.

Whats nice about that interior is that it just works! doesn't look out of place at all and really adds to the car, nice choice and your months of thinking about it paid off.

Black cars are not for me any more due to swirls etc, but your comments about you taking 6hrs to clean it rather than someone else make me happy to sleep at night in the knowledge you know about bodywork etc and that wont be a problem for you.

I really like the way, M-Sport, Pure Impulse and Sapphire Black work together.

I'm not a fan of Atacama, but ooh that black. . .

agreed, i would of gone for black for sure but it is the worst for getting dust, dirt on it but looks awesome after a clean and wax
 
Looks gorgeous. Good choice. The colour combo is very similar to my old E86 coupe which JaEdBa has bought off me. Yellow and black just works :thumbsup:
