Had my 2.5 si Zed for a few months now. The 108's could do with a refurb or changing. The car is sterling grey and to be honest the only thing letting it down is the state of the wheels. I like the 108 and think it suits the car well. I want to go away from silver and was wanting any opinions on colour combo's. Help please guys ...

IMO, keep it OEM. silver inners and polished lips.

My old car

You're wrong. There's 2 things letting your car down - the 2nd one is that it cannot work out how to post pictures of itself, so you will have to do that for it. :)

They always look class in the OEM finish but they can also look good if you play around a bit

We could probably offer better advice once the car has been seen on its shabby shoes

Sorry about lack of pics didn't have any on computer. Here's what I have, after a good clean and polish one evening. No close ups of wheels though. I like the first pic you put up mr.wilks. Not too keen on chrome and shiny bits though. Already got some grills to treat to a coat of satin black to get rid of chrome surrounds. I didn't want to go black on wheels...but that first set I like... now lets try some pics..

Shadow chrome with mirror chrome powder coat rims is the way to go. Durable and suits the Sterling perfectly:

...and an earlier variant with slightly darker smoke chrome stars:

Nice looking motor Op  i did a set recently with a satin matt grey star for a forum member with sterling grey Z

Very very smart indeed. Like the smokey ones, look nearly same colour as car... I have even more brain wracking to do now.

Yes - under, certain light smoke chrome does nearly match the body colour. In so doing it creates a very clean look.

The oem silver looks a bit bling on sterling
