Newbie to forum...

Hi to all

First off, what a great forum!

To cut a long story short, I've been thinking for a while of getting a weekend toy and was leaning towards the z3 initially, but now have decided that the z4 is the way to go for me..6 cylinder definitely......

My budget isn't great, (£5k max), but hey its going to be a weekend car and it keeps within the laws of the better halfs monetary regime :wink:

Have one eye on buying at the moment, hopefully will ramp that up in the new year..In the meantime I'll do more research and see what happens..

Hope I'll be able to ask for advice and help within the forum from you guys in the future :thumbsup:
 
Good choice on the car & the engine , many cars out there but also some decent ones for sale through forum members such as this one

Certainly looks tidy. The oil leak ought to be checked out, the fact that he's mentioned it might mean it's more serious that he suggests. If it is just the gasket it's a cheap DIY fix.

Have mailed the seller and he said it was picked up on the MOT as the gasket itself.

Will have a think :)
