I'm relatively new to the Forum and just thought i would share a few pics of my Zed i've owned since March 2011. Since purchasing i've made a few subtle mods including changing the wheels to Ellipsoids, adding clear rear lenses and a stubby and i have just fitted the facelift bumper this afternoon. Next on the shopping list is an Eibach Pro Kit and and at some point those 'ginger' headlamps will have to go!!

Welcome-great looking zed, optical illusion, but in pic 3 it looks like front bumper touching road
Thanks for the comment and well spotted.

the 107's and facelift bumper make the world of difference

it's actually tempting me into selling my ///M front and putting a facelift bumper on :D

Thanks ben g. I must admit I started to wonder if it was worth the expense after I had to source brand new fog lights and lower grill. Bumper was a bargain £20 off eBay so with painting its been a £400 project but I'm really pleased with the result.

Spend some time over the last couple of evenings making some further mods to the Zed. First up changed the number plate lights for LED's

Completed the LED look by changing all the interior bulbs for LED's

Finally completed the facelift look with fitment of clear lights. The gingers had to go!

That looks great! I am contemplating getting the facelift bumper at the min. Is there much of a difference in the height of the 2 bumpers? I know the M bumper fangs come down more than the standard bumper but not sure about this one? Any chance of a quick measure?!

Love the lights too. Did you buy them complete or do the work yourself?

Thanks for the positive comments Guys.

LukeMace took a quick measurement for you. Bottom of the bumper sits approx 15cm off the ground. Bearing in mind my suspension is standard non sports type so at maximum height for a Zed. I didn't measure the clearance of the old bumper but pretty sure it would be roughly the same. As for the lights, took the easy option and purchased complete units second hand

Looks great that mate, all the things I wanted to do to my previous 3.0i roadster but didn't have the time, patience or £££ to bother with so just bought an M Coupe! So credit to you, the end result must be very satisfying and looks fandabbydocious :) !

Realy good looking zed top marks

My bumper is very scruffy been thinking about oing the same thing. I take it it's a straight swap? Looks much better with the lights changed. They gave the game away!!

Thanks Machine Monkey. Yeah it's a straight swap. :D

Cool better keep an eye on eBay then. Just spent all my zed cash on some new (second hand) wheels. So it might have to wait :(

Thanks Woody :D Really pleased with the result but credit gas to go to the guys on this Forum for giving me the ideas and for sharing their knowledge.

It's amazing how 'fresh' the front looks. I'm still hunting those elusive clear lenses but haven't thought of the facelift bumper....oh dear you've started something now.. eBay here we come :P
