Newbie saying hi

Good evening, been trawling the internet for a Z4 for for a while now and I think I may have found the car for me. 2.2 lt 2004 with very low miles. Driving halfway across the country tomorrow to get her out. Wish me luck

Anyone else out there with a 2.2 auto ?? How do you find it ? Quick enough ? What's. It like on fuel ? I know we don't buy cars like this for an economy drive but does that combination make for 30 ish day to day motoring ? Any tips on what to look for ? Never had a bmw before.

I have a 2.2 but not an auto - had it now for 10 years from new and in terms of performance etc is certainly adequate for me. Have a look at the link in my signature which links to a pre purchase check list.

I also have an 2.2l manual, it's a 3rd car my summer weekend toy.
For me that lovely tourqey straight 6 engine is more than adequate for my needs.
Depends what you want it to do but in the real world it's a fine motor :thumbsup:
