Hey everyone, I just picked up a 2006 3.0i roadster, my first BMW. So far I have just added a stubby antenna and looking to upgrade the wheels, eventually a 3 stage intake and tune.

Hi and Welcome from another newbie. How's the reception w/ that stubby? Use Sat radio mostly, just curious. Ordering one myself soon.

I was afraid it would really limit the range, but I have only noticed that on my commute, 40 miles between cities, that it only drops a few miles short of the full antenna's range and by then I have usually switched to the other city's stations.
