Newbie - Rick

Hello all,

Had my Z4 for 4-5 weeks now and I’m loving it! Already bought a secondhand CabrioShield and brand spankers non-RFT Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 all round. I’m finding this forum really useful so I thought I’d better say hi and show a pick of my Zed.

So, hi!

I’m an engineer in the Royal Navy (Submarine service) so I’m always in a technical environment overseeing or tinkering with stuff all the time. At home I’ve been desperate to get a petrol head’s project car for years - I guess work just isn’t enough! I intend to try and do all work myself on the car. I’m already struggling with my fog light refurb so I think I’m going to be pretty reliant on this amazing forum pretty frequently.

Congratulations on finding a rare colour, and I love your photos! :lol:

Luckily my fog lights didn't have any corrosion, they were just misted up. So I drilled a few holes in the bottom of the lenses and they stay clear now. But it does feel more like a bodge than a fix!
