Newbie - Purchased a BMW Z4 2.5si Roadster

HI All,

I am new to the forum. Just though I would say a quick hello and ask for your advise on the purchase of my Z4.

I should be picking it up next week, direct from BMW. I just wanted to know firstly if the car comes with xenons as standard? It does have the additional comfort package included.

Also I am purchasing some 19inch CSLs and was wondering what would be the best colour? The car itself is black! I was thinking maybe to have shadow chrome as these would make the car look a lot meaner?

i like shadow chrome but if its black its not enough of a contrast between the car and wheels and they look a bit lost imho. id say keep them silver, or when they need a refurb in a few years time go for a brighter high impact silver. im in 2 minds weather to get some 19" csl reps but at £950 odd with tyres its a bit much, im currently refurbing my ellipsoids in a mercury grey as a half way house, with the idea that if i can get the money together they will become my spares/track wheels and get the csl's.

only issue is i now need new tyres, got a bolt in my osf tyre so falken fk452's going on all round tomorrow hopefully, but dont want to spend the extra £550 right now.

Regarding the colour, have you been through the galleries yet? Some top quality pics and a wide range of car colours and wheels. For me, I'd stay silver... but it's not my car!
 
Hi and welcome, Xenons are not standard, if you havent got headlamp wash you wont have xenons that much I can confirm esp as a AUC.

Hmm Im in two minds of keeping them silver. Simply because Im looking to personalise the car a little and silver would be the typical colour to go for, saying that I do agree that they will stand out the most in comparison to shadow chrome.

Pics will be uploaded once Ive got the car and added the wheels, with the Silver Csls or Shadow chrome ones :)

Picked up my Zed a couple of days ago! The best purchase I have made to date by far.

Its a black 2.5si Roadster with red leather interior. Im Just waiting to have the 19 inch rims fitted. Ive decided not to go with the CSLs as Ive found some which look far better (To me anyway) and they have just become available here in UK.

Will upload pics as soon as they are fitted. :)
