Newbie- Pic of my 03 3.0 in saphire black/cream leather

With a black car, you have to take a slightly relaxed look at things. This one lives outside 24/7, I clean it once a week with my wife's MX5 and ( occasionally) my company car. I keep it clean, but not obsessively so.If it was as pristine as some on the forum, I'd never use it. I went out for a thrash on sunday in the rain, it got filthy, I don't get stressed about it, I'll give it a quick clean again at the weekend. It is my intention to enjoy it, not worry about it

Wondermike I have to try :D

Guess I will have to put an advert up
Keep it, then when you sell your car swap it back out again and sell the carbon leather :D

I've just re read the posts, the window switches are in the right place, just not with a wood finish. I've got a print out of the factory build spec, the wood was defo fitted by the factory. It was specced with the business nav, beige oregon leather, rear parking sensors, sycamore wood,108's,wind deflector and heated seats. The factory order confirms it was an "internal" order for BMW GB. Is it a strange mix then?.Suits me fine, I love it. :D
Yep maybe I got that wrong on the window switches, I was convinced otherwise though. You could order the wood as a kit and have the dealer fit it afterwards too. The nav is unusual, as is the wood, especially on an early car, and especially in the UK. Don't know anyone else on here with business nav. Is it any good?

I've only used it a couple of times, but it was easy enough to use and took me home well enough. Clearly sat nav has moved on since it was fitted and a proper screen would be the way to go, but it gives good voice directions and some directions on the albeit limited screen. I'm tempted to buy one of the " stick on the windscreen" ones so my wife can use it too, and I can use it on my motorbike. Becker make really 'nice to use' ones. Not sure I'd have paid £ 1300 for the Nav, BUT, it was in 2003, so it was state of the art then.

It's the business Nav system with 6 speakers and 6 cd stacker. The Nav only has a small screen, but does the job.

What model/spec are you getting.........don't forget to post lots of piccies of the new toy...........
