Spoke to Sopers and they quoted £27.30 each. Not sure if this is good but ill at least know its genuine BMW!

Noted about the wheels! No money to replace them now anyway :(

Jimmy bell have done stubby already. Looks so much better now...

:D

Hi there fellow newbie. Lovely looking Z.

My driver side has a wee scratch and wanted it changed. I was quoted the same price from my local BMW dealer. Found the complete indicator unit on eBay from a breaker, in the right colour. I text the number on his ad and asked if the price was negotiable (advertised at £39 with next day delivery) I paid using goods on PayPal and kept it off eBay. £22 with next day delivery.

Worth a look 8)

Thanks for the warnings as well as advice haha.

Private plate won't be related to car but my name so that I can transfer it whatever car I have.

And here is a new pic I took today (not been cleaned for about 2 weeks and its off my phone so pants quality!) but you can see the stubby lol

Forgot to ask...

Don't know if you've seen on the photos but my wipers sit quite high... Whenever I use them and they go back down again they just don't sit right? They come up past the black bit??

Anyone have any ideas on how to adjust them? Hopefully it's an easy fix?

Thanks in advance! :P

hello and welcome

you need to take advise from a few like Carol, Ruby, Sars ,nonedizzyblonde - watch for the weirdos  :)

Yeah, and if someone called 'Woots' comments on any of your posts just report him - everyone else does

He'll probably start a "Ratio" II thread now.
Welcome Emma! Another girl to join the small gang we have here. Nice looking Zed

At least there's one more girl that's strayed away from her cooking and cleaning duties to become a member now!

Hello and Welcome!

Looks like you got a nice tidy example there

You do know that once the modding bug sets in it's all consuming...

Thanks all!

I think I've started to realise why forums can be bad as well... Haha money getting spent in your head constantly trying to find new ways to improve it!

I think I'll keep level headed... For now I guess!

Renovo products for roof care Emma, I love the Sterling Grey, in all BMWs.

Your 17" look fine, but rather than spending £200-£300 on a refurb, Id look at 18", if you don't do it now, you WILL do it later :D Remember, you will be able to sell your 17"s, which will compensate on the upgrade

Cost of refurb + sale of your 17" = a nice set of 18"

Welcome to the club - plenty of mods you can do on the Z4 - looks like you've picked a tidy example

Welcome! Great looking Zed you have bagged there. Judging by the paint and roof condition it has been a well cared for "garaged when not in use" example rather than one that has stood outside 24/7/365. Can make a huge difference to a 10 year old car's condition.

Search the forum for the thread on DISA valve upgrade and get a kit off Ebay (precautionary but worthwhile preventative maintenance).

Most of all enjoy driving her but be careful not to pick up any points! 8)
