Newbie on the lookout for E86 in N.I. - Got one now!

I've had a thing for the E86 for a long-time. I'm joining up in the hope a fellow enthusiast will let me take a closer look at one here in Northern Ireland, or finding one for sale here or maybe not too far away in Scotland

When I was looking for my E86 last year I was surprised at the number that appeared for sale in NI, (well 2 or 3). I ended up going way down south for mine.

Funny you mention it Benderloch 'cos there was a short period of a few here, then nothing. The hunt continues but I've seen nothing that isn't a 2-day excursion from N.I.

Long story short, I've bought the car advertised by Aria on the forum, based in Aberdeen.

I flew over yesterday then drove it the 220 miles back to Cairnryan for the ferry home.

What a magnificent car. It was in much better shape than I imagined even though the photos and videos looked great.
What a great drive home. A day to remember.

Fuel stop in Aberdeen. Aria left half a tank in it but I filled it for the run home.
