Newbie / numpty question

Hi all

Ive been looking around for a Z4 and find the varying specs a bit daunting!

Looking at pics on classified ads, I noticed some have more buttons than others.....can someone explain?

on the dash directly above the gearstick some have a set of buttons right across and some just 3....what are they and whats missing?

Also I see on the gearstick panel some have two buttons either side, some just one and others don't have any.

Can someone enlighten me please?

Heated seats, roof open/close (if convertible), Dynamic Stability Control, tyre pressure reset then heated seats again.
Buttons either side of the gearstick mean Sport mode (right) and the optional Airbag off (left).

The airbag 'button' is actually just a light, indicating whether the airbag is disabled (the disabler is on the inside of the passenger door I believe and requres the car key). Wow, that's pedantic of me! :roll:
