Newbie looking some advice

Hi

Newbie owner currently loving my 2006 30si :thumbsup:

I have a couple of questions, I have the standard audio system and I want to beef it up a little, nothing too fancy.

I read that you can parallel wire a set of mids into the doors and I aim to do that soon.

My query is how best to add some subs/6x9's in the storage bins. Should I tap into the rear speaker wires and run to an amp? Or would I be better amping all the speakers with a mutlichannel amp?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?

You may want to try a car forum - not a comedy forum :rofl: Ducks may have some input - I took my stereo out to add beer holders.

OP, as you can see, this forum tends to be heavy on the comedy if a real technical question comes down the line. Not sure of a good answer for the Z4, but I would go with multi-channel amp for accieving what you are considering.
 
right.......

just as well I am not sensitive, :P so multichannel is the way forward. How is best to wire this up to the standard stereo.

im trying to find a really good thread thats on here about the z4 system, explains the wiring diagrams etc. I'll keep looking.

In the meantime if you have the basic system, have a look at this link, shows you the part numbers for the OEM speaker boxes.
