Newbie looking for an E85

Hi all. I've just registered as I'm currently looking for an E85 3.0Si as a weekend car to compliment my 335d X-drive daily.
I've read up loads from the forum which will really help im finding the right car.
Please can i ask for some feedback on whether two tone leather was an option in 2006: i've seen a great looking Z4 with red and black leather (the middle section of the seats is black, the outside edge or the seats and the door cards are red), but I'm not sure if its an original option. Does anyone know?
 
You could get OEM two tone leather, I believe. Just that very few people did. I rather like it. :thumbsup:
 
Yes, Bi-Color Leather was a BMW Individual option.

I think they offered it with bolsters in Red, Blue or Phoenix Yellow.

I really like it - with the right paint colours.
 
Thank you for the very fast responses. My 335d is Grey with Coral Red leather which is a great combo. Currently looking at Black or Silver E85s, both with red (or red and black) interiors.
 
Yes, there is just something about red seats! :thumbsup:

They wouldn't really work in my Z4, but at least I found something other than black. :lol:


But both those combinations sound good - happy hunting. :thumbsup:
