Newbie lookin for some info

Hi y'all. So Ive been checking out this forum a fair bit of late, as Im on the lookout for a Zed. I had a VX220 Turbo up until this spring, but it was causing major hassle and was a money pit of despair in the end. So I sold it. I've got an old E46 Touring too, which has gotten me onto the BMW bug. I love it, but its a bit on the lardy side and miss a bit of sportiness.

I was toying with the idea of a Boxster, but the Z4 looks like better value, less temperamental, more comfy inside and I like the look of them a lot more. So I was wondering what to look out for in terms of options? Does it make that much difference when it comes to selling on? I'm after a 3.0i with a manual, and the ellipsoid wheels ideally. Are there any options like Xenons etc that are worth considering?

Thanks for the info, I'll check it out tonight 8)

One other thing: is the extra oomph of a 3.0si noticable over a "normal" 3.0i? What are the major changes to the engine to get the extra ponnies out of it?

in case you were not aware the 3.0i is prefacelift
the 3.0si is post facelift 2006 ish onto 2009
I think it is a different engine
