Hi all - best do the introductions as I will no doubt drive you all mental over the coming months with questions till I get my car the way I want it.

Im now the proud owner of a 2003 2.5 which replaced my mx5 - before you start Im neither gay nor a hairdresser and will miss my 5 more than I wish to admit !!
 
Welcome from a fellow Yorkshireman - look forward to seeing you at a forum meet (there are plently within 'commuting' distance) - whereabouts in Yorks are you? :)
p.s. Not everyone with a ragtop is a gay hairdresser.....some I know work in IT :poke: :rofl:
 
Hi and welcome. I know the feeling I had run MX5's for 7 years plus before I got my zed but as you will discover the zed is in a much higher league.

Welcome to the forum mate; and interesting to see that you`re defecting from the MX5 ?

I must admit, after getting my little Sunday toy earlier this year (1969 MGB-GT), I suddenly had the hankering for something I could throw around a bit more as my daily driver (had an Alfa GT 3.2V6 at the time), and I really did consider the MX5, although I didn`t get to drive one at all, as I happened to spot a beautiful Z4 Coupe (which had gone) up for sale, and I duly bought my own Coupe.

I`m happy, now, that I really made the right choice, as my Zed gives me the every day useability that I need, along with all the chuckability, speed and handling that you could ever need on the road.

You`ll not be looking back at the 5, mate, I can guarantee that ! :thumbsup:

Hi mate, im originally from Hull and moved over to Manchester about 4 years ago, im always back every other week visiting friends, family etc so might see you about. remember to post pics so i know what car to look out for. :thumbsup:

i think there are a few people on here from Hull/East Yorks area?
