Newbie in Surrey!

Well I have kind of done this backwards by posting a 'for sale' first so apologies........

I have recently purchased a (E85) Z4 3.0, it appears that it has everything but 'Sports Seats' and 'Motorised Folding Mirrors' and is a cracking car with good miles and history and the original bill of sale at £40k!

I bought it with an SRS light on and this did cost a bit to fix as it needed the SRS Controller!!!!! Ouch was a polite word that sprang to mind... and thanks BMW for emptying my piggy bank but otherwise loving it!

Looking to keep it pretty much as was intended, may consider a remap - don't know the views on this? and may look for a hard top later on. I found the obligatory sound tube and removed one piece of foam and what a great mod!

Im lucky to have this as a second car so it not really intended for heavy use and hopefully the miles will remain low......... looking to get some pictures up shortly!

Are there any meets in the Surrey area??

Maybe because you were concentrating on a very informative post you overlooked the most important bit - the pics!

I'm on the Surrey/West Sussex border - there's a lot of Forum members in this neck of the woods. There's likely to a be a few going to the Goodwood Super Car Sunday on the first Sunday in May. See following thread:

I think a lot of us would be up for a Surrey-based meet, but no-one has got their arse in gear (me included!).

As the previous posts have mentioned it is imperative that you post post some pics, the members on here just love em. A friendly word of warning, if you don't act soon you'll be attracting some unwanted attention from the forum rozzers, they will be on you like a rash
Another event which sadly clashes with Goodwood is The Spring Car event at Duxford, we had a fantastic day out there last year, weather was great as was meeting other members and we had a splendid picnic Some of us are going again this year.
Hope to meet up in the very near future.

Welcome! There is a big meeting happening next weekend in Duxford. Quite a few from the SE are planning to go. Goodwood is on the same day and others are going there as well
