I must start by making a confession and owning up to placing a couple of posts before introducing myself.....oops! Promise it will never happen again!!
Bought an 03 plate 3.0 a couple of weeks ago after looking at everything from Catherhams, Elises, Boxsters to TTs. Seemed to offer the best compromise between everyday useability, performance, looks and cost to run/buy! Really enjoying it so far tho not had much time with the roof down as it keeps raining!!
I have already done some tinkering adding a Parrot 9100 (Bluetooth handsfree) and removing the foam from the sound generator :evil: (awesome when the roof is down but a little wearing on long journeys with the lid up!!). Next job is to get the CDV removed as lack of clutch control is driving me mad!
I have also suffered a few issues :thumbsdown: that I will be getting sorted over the next few weeks. Blocked roof drain even though stealer has just replaced the motor due to water damage (going back for them to do for free!) and a knocking sound as I pull away/depress the clutch to stop (possible rear spring or bushing). Hope these are one offs and are not the start of a very expensive and painful ownership experience!
Anyhow, I have looked through many posts and this appears to be an excellent source of info with simply awesome input from all the members. Pat on the back to you all!!
In truth I have been so impressed that I felt the need to join (a first for this type of thing!) rather than just leech!!
