Hi guys,
I'm planning on buying a Z4MC in April next year and have been reading through the forum for the last few days. Thought I should sign up and say Hi!
I currently drive a VW Corrado VR6 Turbo that I've spent the last 5 years building, and have loved every minute (nearly!) and have done nearly all the work on it myself. With 380Bhp going through the front wheels you'd imagine progress would be troublesome, but an LSD and Racelogic TC mean that putting the power down is not an issue, most of the time. I've now had the car for 5 years and think it may be time to move on, looking for a replacement has been tough: R32s, V8 S4s etc. Then by chance I stumbled across the MC, which I'd always loved, and was shocked to find the price had dropped into my price range!
One of the great things about Corrado ownership (aside from the great handling and looks) is the rarity and community that surrounds the car. Every other car I've looked at has fallen down on one of these points, but I think with the Z4 I may have found a suitable replacement for my beloved Corrado. (although I may end up keeping it for weekend use!).
The Z4MC seems to tick all the boxes: Driver focused, Great engine note,Rarity, Stunning looks, and of course a Good community; which I'm looking forward to becoming a part of.
Thanks,
Andy
