Hi Everyone,

Bought my 2015 E89 2.0i six weeks ago and just loving it. It’s one owner, 35,000 miles, full main dealer service history. So far have: de-badged, fitted Smart Top, door puddle lights, new side badges and changed roof relays. Also precautionary new battery as it was on the original and a check with a Foxwell showed it had spent most of its life at only 40% charge.
It has the “Tomtom by BMW” Satnav. This works well and has on/off & muting functionality with the head unit, but frankly it doesn’t look great and it’s not possible to update maps anymore. Thanks to some really knowledgeable Forum members I know what the upgrade options are just deciding which way to go….

With any luck a couple of photos below. A great forum - thank you everyone for sharing you knowledge and technical help. I hope to reciprocate over time.

Welcome aboard.
If you're looking for mods, I added a set of 15mm spacers to the same rear wheels as you have and it improved the looks no end.
Left the front standard as have heard stories about odd handling and tbh I didn't think it needed them.

Hi Enuff_zed
.... now wheel spacers that's something that hadn't even crossed my mind. Just had a look at the car and can see that the arches could certainly take a bit of filling out - especially the rears as you suggest. It's going to bug me everytime I look at it now! I have had a quick browse, plenty of manufacturers out there, but it seems to be a love them/hate them addition from a technical point of view. I guess if you buy quality and don't go too crazy on widening the track it should be fine - obviously works for you without problem. More reading I think. Cheers Kevin
