Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. A proud owner of a lovely 2,5 Sterling Grey. Two weeks of ownership now, and love it.
Coming from a 120D it`s a nice replacement. I always promised myself to get behind a straight-6 again, after owning a 2,8 Z3 in the past, for over four years.
I will upload some pictures, as soon as the sun breaks again. I`m getting used to the sat nav/computer. Trying to figure out why it does not memorise the screen settings, and brightness settings. I need to change these every time I switch the car on, and the nav pops out of its bed.
I recently updated the standard gearknob, with a Zhp weigthed one. After reading some good stories on here; about how better the gear change feels. A good move, some serious smooth shifts.
I thought I would share the site with you, if you dont`t already know it. I have seen them priced around £55-60 and people even bidding on ebay around that for used sticks!
