Hi guys, potentially looking to get into my first z4 very soon and plan to take it on a journey from a cheap standard z4 into something that is fairly capable as a fast road/ occasional track car. Wanted a z4 for many years now and think I'm going to finally bite the bullet. Look forward to hearing from existing owners and hopefully gaining some knowledge along the way. No stranger to BMW's I've had a few over the years but I think this is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Hi Kyle as you’re looking for something cheap look at the E85 forum 2003 - 2008 only high milers are going to be cheap , as you are used to BMW, engines will be familiar 2.5 or 3.0l are best, the latter are less cheap but are fast and fun. Plenty of good advice and help on the forum.

Welcome abord the Forum, I see you have a Welsh Flag on your user name, we have a Whats App Zedshed Cymru Group here in South Wales catering for Z3 and Z4's. The Shed is my home garage with a lift in it and thats where we do jobs on our cars, full diagnostics available members supply parts etc and job gets done between us, its left to the individual if they make a donation to shed running costs.
