Hi All - Have been scouring these pages for a good couple of weeks now, Im soon to be the new owner of an 08 2.0SE Roadster - collecting in early August.
Spec has business bluetooth system, full (Grey/Black) leather and some other toys. Would be looking to swap to a DAB system asap though, as I'll miss 6-Music.
Car has been well looked after, has reasonably high motorway miles, but very little cosmetic damage or stone chips of note (amazingly) I know the owner well, who has had it from new, so know its history.
Cant wait to get it, first job is a proper (and my first) full detail to get it back to a high standard - Wheels need some work though, been kerbed a few times from what I can see (under the layer of dirt!)
I have already bought my stubby in anticipation! (see, I have been reading!) and spent a massive £100 on cleaning kit.
Been also reading with interest the info on "tramlining" as Ive had the car on local country (but busy) roads and noticed this quite a bit - if this can be made a little less lively, then Im going to look into it. Certainly kept me on my toes getting used to that!
Hope to get to know you all a bit better soon, when I'll be firing a load of questions at you all, as my addiction flourishes into a full blown problem.
Thanks for reading.
