i want to buy a Z4 3.0 manual 2003/04, are there any specific problem areas on these motors that i should check on viewings?
also what price should i consider paying for one?

Check normal things such as service record then tyre fitment (most of us go for non runflats for a better (and cheaper) ride. Specs next - depending what you're wanting - electric heated sports seats sought after by most. Then most Zeds at that age will have been modified in some way - does it have the wheels you want? You need to read through the forum to get an idea of what's available.

Use a good independent specialist rather than a dealership (stealers we call them) for work and servicing to keep costs down.

There is a posting under FAQ which gives an excellent outline of the Zed and what to look for - good luck with your search.
