Newbie from wigan

Greetings from Wigan. A new Zed owner, but a BMW veteran.
Got this one 6 weeks ago and love it! She's a 2004 3.0 se sitting low on 19's and with a quad pipe stainless exhaust.
Brilliant car apart from burst hydraulic roof pipe, airbag light on, and N/S headlight doesn't work. But at 18 year old she's a bit of a living project. I'm gonna be surfing all the subjects to get her back to as prestine as she deserves!

Welcome to the forum
Beautiful car … the wheels go very nice on that model
( I have a set I’m trying to sell to davros) I’ll show him how well they go on the e85 😂👍
Keep us posted with the bits to fix and how you’re getting on with the car

Welcome aboard the madhouse.
Lovely looking motor. Those pipes look pretty aggressive!
I'd suggest that if you need to replace a roof pipe then it would make sense to do all four at once to save you revisiting it later.
Of course, move the roof motor to the boot while you're at it as well.
Look forward to watching your progress.

Welcome to the forum! Great looking car with a nice shiny silver paintwork. As said above, those wheels suit the colour well.

Hi and welcome. Your car looks great on those wheels with the quad exhaust.

welcome, hope you don't keep getting stopped by our friends in blue with that Reg configuration?

Welcome! Love the wheels and quad pipes!

I used to be a Wigan Warriors fan as a kid in the 90s...

Cheers guys, much appreciated!

Ive managed to sort out the wet roof motor and relocated it into the boot, but looks like some ham fisted numpty had already kinked/split the hydraulic pipe! :(
I'm trying to source parts to make an Inline repair coupling as an experiment to see if it can be fixed for now.

As for the airbag light....... Its the dreaded B pillar sensor that's got wet! Sorting out the water drains this morning, and I'll take the sensor off and test it/dry it out. 🤞

And the headlight out is a mystery! It's got some LED headlight bulb in it at the mo, and regulat halogen lamps just won't work. It's up for further investigation today. I'll keep you all posted. 👍

Well the airbag light is still on, more work needed there!
I've got the N/S headlight working after rebuilding the badly rotten headlight multiplug, but the warning light is still on ffs!! There's a load of Led replacement bulbs fitted and that might be throwing the light up unless someone else has any other ideas?
