Newbie From The South Coast :)

Yep the Morestead rd is great fun indeed unless you get someone who doesn't know it
Haha yes indeed, although there are some good overtaking spots and one of two dodgy ones - only got myself into trouble once... :oops:

Its also (well certainly used to be) a test road for police drivers

Welcome! Where abouts on the south coast are you from? Some beautiful roads about!

Hi there, I'm just of the southern end of the A32 a fab stretch of road between Alton & Fareham for those not to local. This is crossed half way by the A272. One of the most enjoyable driving roads in the south IMO and one I used to frequent a lot back in the days of driving lots of little cars that were built on a farm in Norfolk :driving:

Just watch out for the bikers :wink: (what about the Alton to Basingstoke Road)

Very good point, all the above roads have had their fair share of bad bike accidents :( Alton to B'stoke good to but well patroled by :police:

E85 is roadster. E86 is coupe :thumbsup:

I believe all engine variants are available in both.

Nice! My brother lives in Seale and my sister-in-law in Four Marks, so I'm more than familiar with the roads around those parts.

Enjoy!

Never knew this..i just assumed the E86 was the face lift model...ive learned something today :thumbsup:

Thanks again to all fro the warm welcome :thumbsup:

After endless searching and looking I think I have decided that an 3.0Si will be the best bet. While I would love to have a MR, Mrs Chompers will drive the car equally as much combine this with running costs and the Si creeps ahead.

So to spec:

108's = a must
Heated seats = a must
Comfort Pack = a must
Wind Deflector = a must
Bluetooth = would be nice
Colour = Any Dark, maybe Silver Grey but not Titanium
Interior Champagne, Coral Red or Bi Colour in that order with Piano Black Dash ideally

Have I missed anything?

As far as gearbox goes manual is what I would like but what is the Auto with steering wheel paddles like?

Sorry again for all the questions but I've had so much help so far I can't stop :thumbsup:

Welcome along :thumbsup:

You missed DSP/Hi-Fi - if you like music, I would strongly recommend. I also recommend Xenons if you plan to drive at night. They allow you to see :) :rofl:

Good luck, happy searching 8)

Thanks for the info :thumbsup: Not too many cars with Xenons around at the moment. The 'Z' will be a 3rd car and as such won't get a great deal of use at night would be nice if the rest of the spec is there I guess. As for HiFi upgrade again would be nice aswell 8)
