Hi All,
Not a Zed owner yet but hoping to be one in the coming days/weeks.
I've been reading the forum for the past week or so to give me some sort of idea of what to look out for and it has proved to be very useful.
I thought i found one on Friday evening, advert looked great, the local dealer (2 miles away) said it was in fantastic condition with loads of history. I get quite excited and turn up sat morning to find a car that is scratched to hell, has the airbag light on, radio not working, boot catch not working for 4 out of 5 attempts to close, drivers heated seat not working, no service book or history at all, when turning the car over it says "exactly" 12000 miles to the next service and when pressed he said it was just delivered to him by webuyanycar.com
I decided to take it for a run anyway as i haven't actually driven one yet.
It was a 2005 2.5 and i have to say i loved the experience... It drove well enough to tell me that i'm on the right track and that i just need to find the right one.
I think i will probably end up going for the 3.0 due to wanting the 6th gear and a bit more poke in 4th/5th but depending on the condition and price i'm not going to discount a 2.5, i can probably learn to live with it as it will be a weekend car.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
