Hello folks, I'm currently looking to buy a 03/04 Z4 and have been out testing a few.

I'm currently driving a R32 which I love but I have a list of cars I want to own before I get too old.

A Z4 is one of them so if anyone knows a good one for sale in the next two weeks please let me know.

Cheers

Alan

Evening Alan, and welcome to the forum !

I`m a former R32 owner as well (Mk V), and I now own a 3.0si Sport Coupe, which I absolutely love ! 8)

You`ll find the Zed a very different drive to the R, but you`ll thoroughly enjoy it.

Which engine variant are you looking to buy ?

hello and welcome

i think i can answere encee's question on your behalf, you want the 3.0ltr or even the M

Hi Alan

I bought an 03 (3.0se) earlier this year and have no regrets - well apart from not buying one years ago

Thanks guys for the welcome, sorry I should have said I'm after a 3ltr.

modern cars including roadsters come with heaters :D

+ wear a hat

Welcome along
If you like top down driving then you need not worry about living in Scotland, My roof was down more often than it was up spring / summer and those fresh early autumn mornings with the roof down is great, Quite a few scottish roadster owners on here.
We had a meet in the summer driving up to Skye and roof down for the 2 days, Another one the other week around fife and again roof down all day. The heated seats make a difference though, or for the complete wimps there is always the "unpopular" sorry I meant "exclusive" Coupe :fuelfire:

Welcome along. Honestly though, it's fine living with a soft top in Scotland. Some of the best drives I'v ehad have been the crisp cold winter days where the temp struggles to get above freezing - the heater is VERY effective, heated seats help a bit, but the Z4 cabin is actually quite well protected from the windflow. You sit down low and are fairly protected. The soft-top's very well insulated too so no probs maintaining a wife-friendly cabin temp with the roof up on cold days too.

Good luck with your search :)

Welcome to the Forum. I'm pretty new here too and have to say it's been great so far. Loads of people willing to help and just a great source in general for problem solving and new ideas.

You won't regret the move to the zed from the golf - I did the same 2 months ago and have loved every minute!

As you've probably guessed I was (and still am) an avid fan o' the Broons. Will probably get done for copyright over it though...
