Newbie from Notts

Hi All,
first of all a big thanks to the forum and its members for providing info in helping me pick my roadster.
After being a Z3 2.8 roadster owner for 5 years the natural progression for me was the 3.0l Si an extra 75bhp :-)) I've had the car for a week now and its a different class all together in terms of Ride Handling and Power, although I agree with the majority on the forum, ditch those Runflats! cant make my mind which tyre to pick the forum is definitely helping the choice, anyone in my area recently changed I would appreciate their input on where you got them and the price.
The Car is a 2006 3.0 Si Sport in Saphire Metalic Black Oregon Leather Sports seats with Piano Black Trim with Loudspeaker option.

Hi, nice looking machine!

I'm looking to ditch the runshats shortly and have a set of michelin pilot super sports on order - same price as the runfats. Will post to the forum with update on their performance.
 
Welcome to the forum, there's quite a few of us in Nottinghamshire now :thumbsup:

Not sure if you are North Notts or not but if you are then I've found Stratstone BMW as cheap as people like Black Circles/Camskill for my M tyres. Might be worth giving them a call because they do a price match against local competitors I think as well. If Chesterfield is too far then try Stratstone Derby if you are nearer Nottingham because it's only a quick blast up the A52.

so no trouble with BMW fitting Non Runflats?
 
Hello and welcome. I'm just over the Lincs border near Newark. My 3.0i is now on non-RFTs (can't remember which but I'll check for you later). You're welcome to come over and have a drive, see the difference.
