Hi,

Looking for some opinions on this model:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405224422519/sort/ageasc/usedcars/make/bmw/radius/1500/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/maximum-mileage/up_to_60000_miles/transmission/automatic/model/z4/price-to/12000/postcode/me58ju/page/1?logcode=p

Never had a Z4 but had a test drive of this one & it felt great, does the price seem fair?

Probably top money, but the 2.5si is pretty rare, and in auto form it's the only one on autotrader or piston heads.

Apart from the interior and PDC it's also light on options.

Any reason your not going for the 3.0si?

Been looking on AT & this is the 1st I've gone to look at.

I'm in Kent & looking for ideally an Auto, 60k or below mileage & 12k or less, not fussed between the 2.5 or 3.0si really.

Seemed in excellent nick with no stone chips at all.

looks awfully pricey to me... think I'd hold out for another.

Like this one instead http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201404022999111

Nothing wrong with the 2.5si, my last Z4 was one. If the front end has no stone chips it's probably been re painted as they are prone to it. Your choice is limited so you might need to travel for the right car. I would definitely look at another one or two just compare.

Ony a 2.5, and SE with bad respray on drivers side.

Love the seats. But that's a lot of Money for 2.5 with 53k on the clock.

Definately look at some others, but if that's the one you like, why not.

I travelled over 200 miles to buy my 3.0si Sport. Bought from a BMW main dealership in January this year. 2008 £10.5 with 53K miles (manual).

Took me time to find an si at the right price - plenty of 06s about around 10K. I was very pleased with my deal.

You may have to wait and travel for the right si. I like the seats on the 2007 model shown but they are not sports seats (desired by most) and the price is strong for an 07 2.5 imo. (Good to have a years warranty if an AUC)

Good luck!

:driving:

Thanks for the replies, I do take note about the price & will have a good think.

Another option which the advert says is just 35 miles away from me is this one:

Think you would be better with your first one, especially if you got it for ten.

Still like my OP but am wondering about this:

Scam for sure.

If it were me I would have a look at this:

Looks like a better bet than the others in this thread and you'd have plenty of "motoring vouchers" left over!

That is nice but unfortunately I've decided I want an Auto

Now this might fit the bill:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201407195951619/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/radius/200/maximum-mileage/up_to_60000_miles/page/1/model/z4/transmission/automatic/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/make/bmw/postcode/me58ju/price-to/14000?logcode=p

very nice interior man! (orginal post) another thing to think about at 53k is the fact that in about 8k it will need a number 2 service I believe which will be a fair old whack of money (from a bmw specialist if you want to keep provenance) so that would be a solid bargaining chip.
