Hello from Houston, I am a newbie to this website and also to BMW Homecoming. I am a previous owner of several BMWs and have recently purchased a 2008 Z4 3.0si roadster (still less than 1500 miles); 6 speed manual; black sapphire metallic; black leather interior; black roof.

I have a confirmed registration for Homecoming and will be adding my info to the Confirmed Roster Spreadsheet. However, I figured I should first introduce myself and provide the requisite car photo.

Ed, Welcome from a native Texan (and coming home for good soon after HC!). Great first post with pic! Great car! Mine's just like her only different colors and quickly approaching the 5000 mark (4924 when I parked her in the garage just now). Looking forward to meeting you at HC! :thumbsup: :cheers:

Ahh, just noticed you have different rims. You must not have the sport package.

Thanks for the friendly greetings from everyone. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon.

No, I did not order the sport package. I intend to use the car for my daily driver and wanted the 17" inch wheels all around. My commute is 70 miles round trip each day. Expect that I will put close to 3000 miles on the car just with this trip.
