Hi all,

I've been toying with the idea of getting a Z4 for a good few months now, and am looking for a little advice regarding the cost. I'm looking for a 2006-2007 Coupe in either Sport or M Sport spec, up to 60k with FSH. Regarding spec I'm not too fussy as long as the dash isn't wood* and the box isn't auto.

Has anyone sold a model similar to the above recently? Or had any luck buying? IMO the listings I've seen over the last month or two within a 100 mile radius look a little 'inflated', but maybe that's just me being cynical as my current car isn't worth what I thought it was!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

*Piano black dash would be acceptable of course

hello and welcome

do not dismiss an auto till you try it, maybe you are a definate manual man but even so the auto is fantastic - v quick and v smooth

hya & great forum name :P
there's two cracking Z4C's on forum under £9k but miles are over your target .
don't be put off by miles though if the right service record is there & of course it has been looked after .
mine has 90k covered/2006 & shows no sign anywhere of wear & tear
enjoy your search

Welcome johnny

What mr wilks said - get poking around the for sale section. Most cars on here have been very well looked after, so high mileage should not be a concern with the right history, receipts etc. Hope you find what you want

Cheers for the welcome guys :D

I just love the coupe shape, but it also suits me better as I drive mostly at night, and the majority is motorway munching.

As for the box, I'm not strictly manual, but I'd be buying a Z4 to drive it and enjoy it, and autos seem to take some enjoyment away for me. Having said that I've only driven a 1 series auto, so it's not quite the same

We shall see what happens...

you may change your mind after testing a 3.0SI auto with the sport button deployed . enjoyment aplenty & flappy paddles if you want to have a play .
auto-box in traffic is also a massive plus .
i wouldn't even consider a manual as the autos do so much more so much easier .

Cheers Ben, I'm a Billericay chap, I see you're from these parts too?

Paddleshift makes the auto sound a little more tempting...i'll have to do a like for like roadtest
