Newbie from essex

Just came across this site yesterday! Haven't bought a z4 yet but desperate to find the right one! Have tried both the manual and automatic and decided on manual. It will be an extra car to go out in the summer hopefully! Looking forward to finding one! :)

Hi and welcome to the forum
Checkout the buy and sell section as they come up on there now and again.

Yes were looking for a roadster. We can only afford to buy an old one, but hoping we can find one that's been well looked after! A bit worried that 'sellers' will now wait until spring to sell. hoping we can find one before then though!!

There are plenty of well looked after examples out there. Don't rush to buy one quickly (although you will be tempted to ;) ). Better to wait and find a well loved example with the right spec etc

Didn't even know a coupe existed 'til yesterday!!! But then I'm a girl so it's all about the colour and a soft top!!

Welcome to the forum ! And don't listen to the coupe'd up crew, the coupe doesn't really exist in the sense of being a proper Z4

Its all a terrible lie Walnut. But then as you'll be witnessing this very second, the which is best: coupe or roadster debate* is almost (almost) as intense and non-changing as the stubby/no stubby debate :)

Anyway welcome to the forum. You'll get lots of good, surprising and sometimes strange advice on here but personally speaking, to date it's the best forum out there

Look forward to hearing how you get on with your purchase and seeing the pics when you're sorted. Remember to also check out AlanJ's buyers checklist in the main forum area.

*answer: coupe :D
