Hi

Recently picked up a 2005 3.0i, sterling grey, Elipsoides, msport seats.

A few questions... The tyres are Bridgstone non run flats but the ride and handling seems to be very hard with quite bad tramlining. Not sure what pressures I should be running and if I should check anything else.

It would be good to get one of you guys to drive it and give me your opinion.

I work in Aylesbury and I understand there is a BMW specialist close by, anyone used them?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

Bridgestone run flats are well documented on here as being the root cause of tramlining and harsh ride. A swap to non run flat tyres will help. Falken 452s and Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta are popular replacements.

It's forum rules to post a picture of your zed ;)

EDIT - just spotted you say non run flat Bridgestones? If your car has M sport suspension and 18 inch rims, it will tramline a little I'm afraid. Part and parcel of having a Z4. You'll get used to it

welcome along :D

maybe bridgestone in general are bad on the E85 :?

Michelin ZP run flats were fine - never tramlined at all :D

Welcome to the forum

Tramlining is well-documented on here, as are the solutions... I'll be putting Falkens on mine as soon as I have the cash. And in case no-one mentioned it ....

:worthless:
