Picked up the Z4 just over a month ago and have been modding etc as per some of the wish lists posted on the forum....you can go a bit wild if you're not careful. Now have the car looking as I want with a list of mods as follows:-
Alloys powder coated
Stubby aeriel
Calipers painted in silver smoothrite (as recommended)
New rear discs and front pads
Headlamp lenses refurb'ed as they were a bit cloudy
ZHP gear knob fitted (thank you Sopers for this)
GAP TECH module fitted (what a brilliant gadget that is)
Washed and waxed....and ready to go and enjoy...

tailpipes not new....just carefully detailed with solvol autosol on a bit of wire wool then finished with AG SRP & microfibre cloth. As you can see they came up lovely

Very nice from a fellow 3.0i Sterling Grey with 107's owner. Same mods also.

I've just seen your other thread about the powder coated wheels. I need to do mine really. but spending £200ish to improve the look of wheels that aren't too bad is something the wife will turn her nose up at!! Under the thumb and all that!

powder coating the wheels were a no brainer for me...they stood the 20 yard stare but any closer they did look quite tired, You could try the 'its only £50 a corner' approach with the wife... :D

Youve done a great job with your new Z,now you can enjoy the summer. Where's my wire wool and autosol ! . Oh and by the way welcome.
