Newbie checking in

Hi guys

Just checking in since taking over ownership from Dan on his beloved car. I've had it fully detailed since I bought and she's come up a treat. Hopefully the photos have uploaded. Also put a pick of my other baby as the z is my weekend toy.

Thanks for the welcome guys. I bought it from Dan Gregory via the forum.

Let's try the pics again! Please accept my apologies for carp photos. I will get some more with a decent backdrop at the weekend (so long as the sun is out!).

Oh and the pressure washer is out as I was working away whilst it was detailed and by the time I got back the Mrs had already gone for a drive (in the wet :x ) and made it filthy!

I'm really pleased with it. I've got a 335d xdrive which on paper is faster but the noise and excitement of these little things are just so much fun! I'm totally hooked- even have a number plate ready to go on next week TK55 ZZZ! I think I will be around for a while!

Thanks Stuart. The 6 pot diesels are pretty amazing, especially when mapped. I think mine will do 0-60 in about 4 seconds flat (yes really!). Like I said on paper the stats really are amazing and due to four wheel drive there aren't many cars that can keep up from a standing start (especially when wet)......not much soul tho and certainly no competition when it comes to the noise!

I love the Zed, the 3er is my workhorse and work colleague

I am sure that Mrs Slipperyshoe was also disappointed at the state she left the car in, so I know that she will appreciate a microfibre mitt, a couple of buckets and a drying cloth. Even better if you get it for a special occasion.
