I suppose if I buy a bad one I can at least salvage the Socket and solder that into the module i have. That is if all the voltages running the wrong paths hasn't blown it!

So I solder on the wire to bypass the missing pins.



She's Alive!!. And as she sprung into life Fleetwood Mac replaced the random radio channel with the words

That's now four cars with the same k-bus issue I've seen in the last couple of months and every time it's been that plug!

The centre module really needs putting in a plastic bag to give it some better protection, same for the satellite modules

That's a good idea, I think I will do that . I'll add a few silica gel packs and cable tie it tight.
