Hi all,
I'm currently negotiating the final stages of purchasing a 2004 533.0 se z4with 63k on it and am really looking forward to getting involved with this community.
I love good rag top roadsters and am very impressed so far after taking her out twice. My only worry is that it's an auto (i would usually opt for a manual) and on the test drive it seem to be a little sketchy when deciding what gear I should be in, my friend who owns a BMW 550 auto said his is the same if hes been doing allot of town traffic then floors it as the gearbox learns your style of driving. Is this true?
The engine sounds sweet, its from a very well respected sports car dealer, all tyres are good no uneven wear, 18" alloys unmarked, the hood isnt working but the garage has insisted they will do whatever it takes to make it work "like new" regardless of cost prior to purchase and it has full service history.
I have done quit a bit of research but am not the best on PCs and was hoping someone could advise me of any last minute things to check or large upcoming expenses due prior to handing over the cash?
Your help would be greatly appreciated and if my online etiquette is poor please feel free to abuse me until I learn.
Thanks.
