Newbie - 1st post! Soon to be Zed Coupe owner

Actually scrub the black... I've just come back from seeing a carbon black Z4C - awesome colour.
The car's not for me as I can tell the OSF wing has been painted and it's covered in touch ups and stone chips.

Apart from that - wow, what a colour. Anybody want to sell their Carbon Black Z4C 3.0Si Sport???

Nope sorry

I got my roadster as "motorcycle replacement therapy". Inner ear nerve damage was causing challenges for two wheel travel. Put the top down and you get to keep the "out there" feeling that the motorcycle has. Coupe or roadster - enjoy!

Ooo this just came up on Autotrader, great spec, great milage, great price.

No pics, says metallic blue... Ooo could be midnight blue, or mistakenly noted as blue but a Carbon Black...

Contacted the seller - Montego Blue. ***sigh*** anooother one.

There are lots of Montego Blues, be prepared to be patient for what you want. Took me 4 months looking for a Ruby Black / Sapphire Black (high spec) to eventually find a Carbon Black with everything I wanted..

I'm reluctant to but I need to stop looking 2-3 times a day on the same sites (a/trader, eBay & Pistonheads and here) it's driving me mad not seeing many new ones coming online.

There're are couple of Auto's I'd be interested in as the spec is bang on, but the auto 'box just really doesn't do it for me...

Dont stop looking, I did the same, add BMW AUC to that list.

I drove both and preferred the auto - manual was too notchy for me, but everyone has thier preference.

Check my original thread here:

Make a list as I did and a spreadsheet of all the contenders, I can send you mine if you like. Stick to it - dont compromise too much and you will be fine!

I've found a lovely Silver Grey Sport Coupe quite close to me, I went to see it on Saturday and It is a very, very nice motor. It has individual Amerone leather and piano trim, which does look really classy.

The spec is right, the bodywork is in perfect condition, the interiors a liiiiittle bit shabby but nothing a damn good bit of detail work couldn't sort out. The only thing is the price really, I think for a 2006 56plate car it's a tad overpriced - it's been reduced already from £12,900. I think the owner is playing on the Individual leather a little too much. I really like the car, but I think I'm going to hold off for a few weeks to see if anything better comes along (which it probably will) and then if not I might dive in with a much lower offer and see where it gets me.

Would I be right in thinking it's a little overpriced or is it just me?

The seller probably needs to sell more than you need to buy so hold out.
