Hi all,
I've been all over this forum, and asking pesky questions and just discovered I should have started here, so am righting the wrong

I owned a showroom modified Datsun 240z running 265 tyres back in the 90s. Loved that car with a passion. Recently satisfied my itch to own a hot hatch, Renault Megane RS 225 6sp manual yet kept thinking about that 240z.
So I looked around and was tempted by an E89 35i, but a dodgy salesman and rough car put me off, but it brought to my attention a Black Sapphire Metallic, Red Leather E86 Coupe. And strangely, having always lived manuals, I wanted an auto, and that was.
I totally love this car. Felts remarkably chunky/solid to drive, and bigger than it is. Fantastic handling, remarkable low down torque, and creature comforts that prove I would struggle now in an old car from the 70s lol.
If all the similarities to the 240, 2 seats, 2 doors, hatch, straight 6, it's the way some angles of the case are querky, and some are drop dead gorgeous. It has me constantly turning back and looking at the car, searching for that perfect picture.
Thanks heaps for letting me join lads, what a brilliant forum
