Newb Z4MC in Scotland

Hi all,

I got my Z4MC in December, and lasted about 4 weeks before deciding to invest in the Eventuri intake & Strömung Exhaust. 8) This is my first BMW, having had my Nissan 200's the last 12 years. :)

The weather has obviously been pretty miserable here since I got her, but the roads were dry today, so took it out for a first decent blast around some good roads :driving: So i'm looking forward to the summer now, plan to do the North Coast 500 route at some point, and will prob go to a track-day in the next months. :D

Welcome, dry but cold in Perthshire today....we decided on an impromptu wee run out towards Glencoe with the intention of food at Clachaig Inn but never made it past Green Welly and the chippy there in Tyndrum.Roads reasonably quiet, where abouts did you get to?

Thanks all

Just a 100-mile round trip through Aberfoyle, Dukes Pass, round Loch Achray, Callander and back down via Lennoxtown, so open to suggestions, might be tempted to head little further up to Glencoe next time...

How do you find the Eventuri / Stromung combination?

I think I actually commented on your Stromung thread a couple weeks back when you fitted yours! :P As I said, think I find it pretty difficult to make out the Eventuri since fitting the Stromung, but figure the Eventuri provides little performance/power-delivery improvement whereas the Stromung is all about the sound, but yeah good combo. I always tend to go for semi-sensible exhaust options for my daily drivers, but would be nice to have a button to magically switch to something more like the RPI exhaust at the weekends.

Welcome, nice coupe you have there

Dukes pass is favourite of mine too (when it's quiet without cyclists  )

Dukes pass is fab and plenty more good roads around there!

On the way back down!
