Lurking for a couple months, thought we'd say hello.
I went from a Crossfire Roadster to the Z4 and so far I love it. 2004 in Toledo Blue with Tan interior. Sport mode. Handles the way I wanted my Crossfire (SLK) to handle. Now if I could just get those comfy crossfire seats into the Zed... Looking to add a body kit in the spring, maybe paint as well. For now just cleaning things up and doing PM. Maybe a new radio soon. I have premium sound but it's not enough. Husband swapped in new lights and chrome grills the first week to update the look a little. Old ones were hazed beyond repair, plus I wanted the halo look.
The husband likes it so much, he will be selling his Porsche to get a second one. Of course his will get molested with power adders, a body kit, suspension mods and new paint. He can't leave things alone. He maxed out the stock Porsche V8 in his 928 and swapped in a 421" SBC with 675HP and some nitrous. He has agreed to stick with the stock motor on the Z4, though he may upgrade internals. He's looking at a 2007 or 2008 3.0i and a super charger. Looks like the 3.0si has no SC option as of now.
